| Director Finance • Location: Islamabad • Age Limit: 55 years (max.) | • Essential: A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA, or CPA); OR Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (Finance), or a related field from an HEC-recognized university. • Preferred: Professional accountancy qualification; certifications in public financial management, procurement, or IT/systems. | • Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting, preferably 5 or more years as CFO, Director Finance, or Head of Finance. • Proven record of setting up financial systems and controls for a new or growing organization, including ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo). • Strong command of IFRS/IPSAS, taxation, audit, and PPRA rules. • Experience in higher education, trusts, not-for-profits, or public sector highly preferred. |
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the financial management system from scratch: chart of accounts, policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
- Lead the finance and procurement modules of the University ERP and build a digital-first, paperless finance function.
- Lead budgeting, planning, treasury, and endowment management; ensure timely reporting, compliance, audit, and risk management.
- Oversee procurement and build a high-performing finance team.
