Job Responsibilities
- Design, manage, and support retail store IT infrastructure, including POS terminals, self-checkout systems, handheld scanners, price checkers, and weighing scales.
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including core switches, access switches, routers, and related networking equipment.
- Monitor server performance, perform regular backups, and conduct disaster recovery testing.
- Support ERP and Retail Management Systems, including inventory and reporting platforms.
- Lead IT setup and infrastructure deployment for new store openings and business expansion.
- Supervise IT support engineers and technicians while providing technical guidance and training.
- Coordinate with internet service providers, software vendors, hardware suppliers, and system integrators.
- Manage procurement, budgeting, and infrastructure upgrade projects.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with network configuration, routers, switches, and server management.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and Retail Management Software.
- Experience supporting POS systems and store-level IT infrastructure.
- Vendor coordination and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a relevant diploma.
- 4–5 years of IT experience in the retail or FMCG sector.
- Practical experience in networking, server administration, POS support, and retail IT systems.
- Ability to manage multiple retail locations and technical operations efficiently.
