Position & BPS	Required Qualification & Experience
Professor (Medical Education) (BPS-20)	• Basic Qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical/dental qualification recognized by PM&DC. • Postgraduate Qualification: Level II b or Level III postgraduate degree or diploma in Medical Education or Health Professions Education. • Experience: Min 3 years as Associate Professor OR 9 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the respective subject. • Research Publications: Total 15 research publications in relevant subject (min 6 in last 3 years).
Director Quality Enhancement Cell / Institutional Quality Assessment & Effectiveness (IQAE) (BPS-20)	• Option A: MS/MPhil or equivalent degree (18 years education) in Health/Medical Education/Life Sciences/Management Sciences with 12 years administration/management experience in BPS-17 or above. • Option B: Masters or equivalent degree (16 years education) in above disciplines with 15 years administration/management experience in BPS-17 or above.
Deputy Registrar (BPS-18)	• M.A. / M.Sc. / MPA / MBA from HEC recognized University with 5 years administrative experience, OR • MBBS with 5 years teaching/administrative experience.
Deputy Controller of Examinations (BPS-18)	• M.A. / M.Sc. / MPA / MBA from HEC recognized University with 5 years administrative experience, OR • MBBS with 5 years teaching/administrative experience.
Network Administrator (BPS-17)	• MS in Computer Sciences / BE in Engineering from HEC recognized University. • 2–3 years experience of Network Administration and Management.
Database Administrator (BPS-17)	• MS in Computer Sciences / BCS / BE in Engineering from HEC recognized University. • 2–3 years experience of Database Administration. • Strong communication and database management skills.

Application Process & Submission Guidelines

Online Registration: Applicants must fill out the online application form via the official UHS job portal.
Fee Payment: Print system-generated fee challan and deposit non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 2000/- for BPS-17 & above via 1Link or any Bank of Punjab branch.
Hardcopy Submission: Submit signed hardcopy printout of the online application form along with deposited fee challan, attested copies of CNIC, domicile, educational documents, and experience certificates to Office of Human Resource Department, Room # 12, University of Health Sciences, Khayaban-e-Jamia Punjab, Lahore.
Submission Deadline: 30th October 2026 within office hours.

Important Eligibility & Terms of Reference

Domicile: Only Punjab-domiciled candidates are eligible to apply.
Job Nature: Appointments are purely on a contract basis under UHS Service Statutes 2005.
Public Sector Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in reputable public sector medical universities or institutions.
Government Servants: Applicants working in public sector organizations must apply through proper channels.
Posting Locations: Selected candidates may be posted at any campus of the University (City Campus or Jinnah Campus KSK).
TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for tests/interviews.
