Eligibility Criteria & Key Terms
- Eligibility & Rules: Determined as per HEC criteria, AIOU Services Statutes 1978, AIOU Recruitment & Promotion Rules 2022 (amended April 2026), and Internal Assessment Framework.
- Age Relaxation: Maximum age limit relaxed in pursuance of Relaxation of Upper Age Limit Rules, 1993, and AIOU Services Statutes 1978.
- Processing Fee Schedule:
- BPS-18: Rs. 1500/-
- BPS-20: Rs. 5000/-
- Challan forms can be downloaded from the AIOU Job Portal.
- Government Servants: Applicants serving on regular, ad-hoc, acting charge, or contract basis in Govt/Semi-Govt/Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel with NOC and service certificates.
- TA/DA: No TA/DA shall be admissible in any case.

- Special Requirement for Associate Professor (BPS-20):
- Must submit their application online, followed by hardcopies (04 sets in binding form) and 01 soft copy (CD/USB in PDF format).
- Hard copies must include attested documents, research articles, details of conference papers, student supervision (M.Phil & Ph.D level), research grants/projects, community service, and original paid Bank Challan.
