Trade / Econometrics / Applied Economics). • Experience: +8 years in applied economics or quantitative trade research / impact analysis of tariff changes / Tariff analysis / Remedial measure related injury analysis. • Mandatory Skills: Mandatory proficiency in Stata, R, Python or equivalent; expertise in Computed General Equilibrium (Global Trade Analysis Project / General Algebraic Modelling System) and Partial Equilibrium modeling, Eviews/SPSS, tariff optimization, export product development, evaluation of sectoral competitiveness, value addition, productivity enhancement, consumer welfare and technology transfer etc. |
| Legal Assistant | • Qualification: Graduate, preferably law graduate from a HEC-recognized institution. • Skills/Responsibilities: Support preparation of responses, submissions, pleadings, and legal documentation for proceedings before courts, tribunals, appellate forums, and other competent authorities. Manage court processes, provide inputs for litigation, conduct legal research on domestic and international trade laws, WTO Agreements, trade remedy regimes, administrative law, and assist in drafting legal opinions, briefing notes, summaries, and reports. |
Terms & Conditions and Application Instructions
- Contract Duration: Positions are on a contract basis initially for a period of one to two (01-02) years, with possible extensions based on performance evaluation and operational needs. Salaries include annual revisions with a 05% to 15% increase depending on satisfactory performance.

- Selection Process: Only shortlisted candidates meeting the eligibility conditions will be called for an interview by the Selection/Interview Committee in Islamabad. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in the interview.
