| Registrar (BPS-20) (Direct Appointment) | • Ph.D. with 13 years’ experience; OR • MS / M.Phil. / Equivalent Degree with at least 2nd division with 15 years’ experience; OR • Master’s Degree / MA / M.Sc. / BS or equivalent degree with 2nd division (or CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0) from HEC recognized university/Institution with 17 years’ experience in BPS-17 or above in teaching or administration. • Should be well versed in latest office techniques, use of computer and capable of communicating with teachers, students and various organizations. • Age: As per government policy. |
| Treasurer (BPS-20) (Direct Appointment) | • Ph.D. in Commerce/Business Administration (Finance/Accounting), Economics or equivalent from HEC recognized University/DAI with 13 years’ relevant experience in BPS-17 and above or its equivalent in a university or Govt. organization or autonomous body; OR • MS/M.Phil. /Equivalent Degree in Commerce/Business Administration (Finance/Accounting), Economics or equivalent relevant qualification with at least $2^{nd}$ division with 15 years’ relevant experience in BPS-17 and above or its equivalent in a university or Govt. organization or autonomous body; OR • Professional Degree as ACA/ACMA/FCA/FCMA/ACCA/CA/PIPFA with 17 years’ relevant experience in BPS-17 and above or its equivalent in a university or Govt. organization or autonomous body; OR • Shall have excellent administrative and communication skills with latest office techniques and good leadership qualities. • Age: As per government policy. Preference shall be given to eligible candidates from the Audit and Accounts Service in accordance with Section 14 of the AJK Public Sector Universities Act, 2026. |
| Controller of Examinations (BPS-20) (Direct Appointment) | • Ph.D. with 13 years’ experience; OR • MS / M.Phil. / Equivalent Degree with 2nd division with 15 years’ experience; OR • 2nd Division Master’s Degree / MA / M.Sc. / BS or equivalent degree with at least 2nd division (or CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0) from HEC recognized University/Institution with 17 years’ experience in BPS-17 or above in teaching or administration. • Should be well versed in latest office techniques, use of computer and capable of communicating with teachers, students and various organizations. • Age: As per government policy. |
General Instructions & Application Guidelines
- Application Submission: Candidates are required to submit attested copies of their degrees, result cards, transcripts, certificates, Domicile & State Subject, etc., along with prescribed application forms in person or send by post to the Registrar, University Secretariat, University of Kotli Azad Jammu and Kashmir, P.C 11100.
- Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 20,000/- for BPS-20 must be paid via original University Challan or Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Treasurer, University of Kotli Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
- Foreign Degrees: Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the HEC.
- In-Service Candidates: In-service (permanent employee) candidates must apply through proper channel by the due date. The age limit shall not be applicable to in-service permanent University / Government employees.
- Testing & Selection: Applicants will be shortlisted based on a written test (where required) in their respective fields. Only the top five candidates having marks 50% or above in the written test conducted by any recognized testing service agency will be called for interview against one post.
- Ineligibility: In accordance with the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Public Sector Universities Act 2026, university teachers and retired University/Government employees are not eligible for the above-mentioned positions.

- Last Date to Apply: Application forms indicating the posts should reach the office of the Registrar by 10-11-2026. Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
