| Digital Dental CAD Designer | Education: Bachelor’s/Diploma in Dental Technology, Biomedical Engineering, CAD, or related field preferred (candidates without a formal degree but strong, verifiable digital design experience will also be considered). Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of digital dental design experience. Software Skills: Proficiency in dental CAD software (exocad strongly preferred; 3Shape/Cerec accepted). Blender experience is an advantage. Hardware & Clinical Skills: Hands-on experience with resin SLA/DLP 3D printers, strong grasp of prosthetic anatomy, occlusion, shade/material selection, and surgical guide/implant/CBCT-integrated design. |
Job Description & Key Responsibilities
- CAD Design: Design crowns, bridges, surgical guides, splints, and removable prostheses in exocad/DentalCAD from intraoral scan data.
- 3D Printing: Prepare, run, and finish 3D prints of surgical guides, study models, splints, and trial restorations.
- System Maintenance: Maintain the digital case library and patient file archive, and troubleshoot scanner and printer operations.
- Faculty Collaboration: Work directly with prosthodontics faculty to ensure designs meet clinical requirements.
