General Instructions & Application Guidelines
Testing & Screening Requirements
- Applicants must apply on the Job Portal of the Government of Sindh at
[http://sjp.gos.pk](http://sjp.gos.pk). - Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of Bachelor, Intermediate & Matriculation Categories, with at least 40% marks, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS) and possess its certificate issued by STS, as required.
Age & Quota Rules
- Age shall be calculated from the closing date of submission of applications as provided under Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024, along with a 5-year upper age relaxation as per notification No. SOII (SGA&CD) 564/2011 (Part. II) dated 06.03.2025.
- Appointments are governed by the “Defined Contribution Pension Scheme 2024”.
- Initial appointment quotas include 15% Women Quota, 5% Minority Quota, and 5% Disabled Quota as per Government of Sindh policy.
Submission & Interview Guidelines
- Government servants must obtain an NOC from their Department prior to submitting applications and bring the original copy of the NOC to the interview before the Departmental Selection Committee.
- Appointments will be made per the Policy notified by the Government of Sindh on 26-04-2023 and under the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973/74.
- Shortlisted candidates will appear before the Departmental Selection Committee along with original documents as per the schedule uploaded on the Job Portal.
- No TA & DA will be admissible for the interview.
