Applications are invited from Punjab-domiciled Pakistanis for the following Regular/Contract posts at The University of Layyah:

| Junior Clerk (BS-11) (Regular / Contract) | (i) Higher Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board; (ii) Speed of 25 words per minute of typing on computer in English; and (iii) Proficient in M.S. Office or any other compatible office application. |
| Cook (BS-05) (Regular / Contract) | (i) Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board; and (ii) Two years’ experience in the relevant field. |
| Bus Driver (BS-04) (Regular / Contract) | (i) Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board; (ii) Valid Heavy Transport Vehicle driving license (HTV) and Public Service Vehicle (PSV) driving license; and (iii) Five years’ experience in the relevant field. |
| Tractor Driver (BS-04) (Regular / Contract) | (i) Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board; (ii) Valid Commercial Tractor Trolley driving License; and (iii) Five years’ experience in the relevant field. |
| Carpenter (BS-04) (Regular / Contract) | (i) Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board; and (ii) Diploma in the relevant field from a recognized institute. |
| Plumber (BS-04) (Regular / Contract) | (i) Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board; and (ii) Diploma in the relevant field from a recognized institute. |

Terms & Conditions and Application Instructions
- Online Application: Applicants are required to apply online through the official university website.
- Online Submission Deadline: The last date for submission of the online application is 27/08/2026.
- Hard Copy Submission: One set of the application form along with attested copies of academic certificates, experience certificates, CNIC, recent photograph, and computer-generated original paid fee voucher should reach the Office of the Registrar, University of Layyah, City Campus, Kachehry Road, Layyah on or before 31/08/2026.
- Processing Fee:
- BS-01 to BS-07: Rs. 2000/-
- BS-11 to BS-16: Rs. 3000/-
- Screening Test: Where required, the screening test will be conducted through an independent testing service.
- Government Employees: Candidates currently employed in Government / Semi-Government departments or Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel by the due date. Advance copies of applications will not be entertained.
- Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for serving Government employees will be admissible as per Government policy.
- Quotas: Reserved quotas for disabled persons, minorities, and women will be observed as per rules. Separate applications must be submitted for open and reserved quotas.
- Pension Scheme: Candidates appointed on a regular basis will be governed by the contributory pension scheme as per Government of the Punjab rules.
- Multiple Applications & TA/DA: Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application forms with necessary documents complete in all respects. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
