Applications are invited to fill the following vacant position at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad on a regular basis (initially with probation for a period of six months):

| Qualification: • Ph.D. Degree (applicants enrolled in Ph.D. Program may also apply) in IR / DSS / Economics / Pol. Sc. or comparable discipline with excellent analytical ability. • Experience with particular focus on China, SCO, and Central Asia will be preferred. Core Competencies: • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a University, think tank, research institution, or policy-oriented organization, with minimum five HEC-recognized research publications. • Strong leadership and team-management skills, including experience in supervising researchers and delivering quality outputs within defined timelines. • Established professional networks with Chinese think tanks, research institutions, and universities, with experience in fellowships, joint research, academic exchanges, and international collaborations. • Experience in conceptualizing and leading research projects, policy dialogues, conferences, and bilateral exchanges.
